SUGIHWARAS HERITAGES

Heritage refers to something inherited from the past. The word has several different senses, including:

• Natural heritage, an inheritance of fauna and flora, geology, landscape and landforms, and other natural resources
• Cultural heritage, the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of a group or society: man-made heritage
• Food heritage
• Industrial heritage, monuments from industrial culture
• Tradition, customs and practices inherited from ancestors
• Virtual Heritage, an ICT work dealing with cultural heritage
• Inheritance of physical goods after the death of an individual; of the physical or non-physical things inherited
• Heredity, biological inheritance of physical characteristics
• Birthright, something inherited due to the place, time, or circumstances of someone's birth

And every village has unique heritage, so has Sugihwaras. Sugihwaras lies at Bojonegoro regency,East Java. it lies between Three Sub-District  villages, the east  KedungAdem Sub-District and  the north,Sukosewo Sub-District, the west is the Temayang Sub-District. and the southest  area is the Jati /teak forest

Sugihwaras self has unique Cultural heritage, from their and culture, many ceremonies are held by Sugihwaras peole , such as  Slametan/( Sugihwaras peole called it Bancaan()  Ceremonies. The communal meal, the slametan, is central to abangan practice and is sometimes also performed by santri. The function of the slametan is to promote slamet, a state of calmness and serenity. The slametan is performed within a household and it is usually attended by one's closest neighbors. And Sugihwaras Culture still dominated  from Java Culture, and Java culture was  dominated Islamic teaching and  Javanese  are still believe the Hinduism and Buddhist beliefs. so    Sugihwaras heritages has similar to another  Javanese’s Culture. But Sugihwaras people has name of the custom .
